Love this White Rock Lake Maternity session!
As I&#8217;ve been editing this week, my kids are finally back in school and it&#8217;s really making me think about parenthood and the passage of time.
Do you know what&#8217;s wild? My twins started FOURTH GRADE last week. Fourth!! What?!? When I took them to the bus stop this morning, they ran off to their friends without even looking back. Because that&#8217;s how old they are now.
I know it&#8217;s so cliché and I say it way too often, but the years go by too fast. I think back to the days when my now super-old twins were little babies crawling around. It&#8217;s such a blur! And then I think about when I was pregnant, and it almost feels like I&#8217;m looking back on someone else&#8217;s life. And then I&#8217;m so glad we did a maternity session to document that amazing time that now feels like a lifetime ago.
I absolutely love when couples decide to do a maternity session. It&#8217;s just such a precious, exciting time of anticipation and emotion. Especially those last few weeks when it&#8217;s just *soclose* to baby arriving and you&#8217;re realizing you&#8217;re really about to be parents! If you&#8217;re on the fence about doing a maternity session, trust me, you&#8217;ll be glad if you do!
We had so much fun at this White Rock Lake maternity session. And it was extra awesome because it&#8217;s one of my awesome past wedding couples. You can see how sweet they were together <a href="https://www.facebook.com/StacieTatumPhotography/photos/pb.100051284677714.-2207520000../10152829652750863/?type=3" target="_blank" rel="noopener">at their wedding</a>. Catching up with them was so much fun. A few years ago Chelsea totally rocked her <a href="https://stacietatum.com/gorgeous-bridal-session-dallas-bridal-photographer/">bridal session</a> and now she equally rocked her maternity session! She&#8217;s absolutely beautiful and just radiates joy. They are such a sweet couple and I&#8217;m so excited for them to become parents in just a few weeks. You can&#8217;t even tell that it was a million degrees; they were just so happy and excited, and it really shows!
