We did this sweet girl&#8217;s one year photos at the Arboretum and White Rock Lake. They were perfect backdrops for some serious cuteness!
How adorable is this precious girl?? She was all smiles as soon as she saw me and was psyched to have some time to explore the Arboretum (mostly the dirt &amp; wood chips, of course). Although I&#8217;m pretty sure her favorite moment was the one where she finally got off that pesky headband!
We had rescheduled this session because of a dreary Sunday that had a forecast of rain, but turned out to be just a gloomy, cold day. It&#8217;s always hard to make the call to reschedule, since you just never really know what the weather here will be. But luckily the day we ended up doing the session was absolutely perfect. It was totally worth the wait!
Yet another <a href="https://www.facebook.com/StacieTatumPhotography/photos/pb.100051284677714.-2207520000/10152405530670863/?type=3">tiny newborn</a> is turning one and I&#8217;m in disbelief, as always. The year rushed by in the blink of an eye. Of course I&#8217;m sure it has for her parents as well. This is one of my favorite, favorite ages &#8211; I just love the amazement in their eyes and the way every tiny, mundane thing is a source of fascination. It&#8217;s a good reminder to pause and take a second to notice all of the amazing things around us!

After doing most of the one year photos at the Arboretum we did some family photos at White Rock Lake just around the corner.
