Taking your baby&#8217;s one year photos at home is such a good opportunity to photograph them where they&#8217;re most comfortable. It&#8217;s also really great if there are older siblings because they can be in their element too. It usually results in a really fun session.
And what fun this was! Getting to the final session in baby&#8217;s first year is always bittersweet for me. I&#8217;m always sad that it&#8217;s the last one because I love getting to see babies through all those milestones during their first year. At the same time, it&#8217;s so much fun to see how much these babies grow and see what great kids they turn out to be! This is kiddo #3 for this family. I&#8217;ve been so honored to do first year photos for each of the kids. And it&#8217;s always a joy &#8211; they are truly some of the sweetest kids I&#8217;ve ever met!
Time has really flown since this sweet boy&#8217;s <a href="https://stacietatum.com/blog/the-third-sweet-baby/">newborn session</a> and <a href="https://stacietatum.com/blog/six-month-at-home-session-dallas-baby-photographer/">six month</a> photos. Now he&#8217;s walking around and full of personality!
When you turn one the world opens up &#8211; you suddenly get a whole cake right in front of you all to yourself! And if you&#8217;re really lucky, you also might get your own ice cream cone on the same day! Life doesn&#8217;t get much better than that. 🙂
