This special Mom &amp; Me session was full of sweet moments and so full of love. My job as a photographer is much more than just taking pretty pictures. It’s about capturing your family as you are. Documenting your kids as they grow. And sometimes, it’s about capturing a season of life that is marked by change. 
I love this Mom&#8217;s words after she saw the photos: “This is what struck me as I was viewing these pictures &#8230; Sometimes families look different than they used to &#8230; sometimes people have to start over, and the only things you really need are love and joy. A beautiful background doesn&#8217;t hurt!”

Even though it was the middle of winter, a time of change, the garden was still full of color and life and growth and even some flowers.
I&#8217;ve known these adorable kids their <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10152310928320863">whole lives</a> and it&#8217;s so awesome to see their personalities as they grow up. They are definitely not camera shy, which makes every one of their sessions extra fun! A cold front rolled through during this session, but they were absolute troopers and kept on smiling. They had such a great energy!
