There&#8217;s nothing quite like being a lifestyle family photographer. I meet so many incredible people. And I have amazing opportunities to document kids as they are born and grow up. I&#8217;ve been lucky to know these parents not only when they were <a href="https://www.facebook.com/StacieTatumPhotography/photos/pb.100051284677714.-2207520000/10152071102745863/?type=3">getting ready to be parents</a>, but even when they <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10150180112450863&amp;set=pb.100051284677714.-2207520000">vowed to spend their lives together</a>. It&#8217;s always great to catch up while photographing their family. And I love that they like to do their many of their sessions at home!
This session was extra, extra, extra special. Two months ago, this precious little guy ended up in the hospital with a very unexpected and serious heart condition. The details aren&#8217;t mine to share, but his recovery and many aspects of what happened are nothing short of a miracle. After a long hospital stay, his homecoming was incredibly special and joyful. You can just see the happiness and love on his family&#8217;s faces.  He&#8217;s especially lucky to have a big sister who is completely in love with him. She was always eager to love on him and try to make him feel better when he wasn&#8217;t feeling his best. Even though she nearly tried to steal the show with her awesome personality and style. 😀
I had a really sweet morning with this family. They had time to focus on spending time together and snuggling their special little guy.
I realized the other day that I haven&#8217;t blogged any sessions in nearly a year (OOPS!!) and I can&#8217;t think of a better one to start back up again with.
