There&#8217;s something magical about a First Birthday Party. You made it through that first year (woo hoo!). Your tiny baby is becoming a toddler. Yet they&#8217;re definitely still your baby. A first birthday party is a huge celebration!
In the past, I&#8217;ve spent hours planning my kids&#8217; birthday parties. First, because they were important to me. Second, they were tons of fun to put together! However, when you look at pictures of those parties, you&#8217;d hardly even know I was there. Because as the Mom I was taking a few pictures, but mostly running around like crazy, doing all the other things. I wish I could go back in time and make sure I had someone to document those parties for me! If you&#8217;re wondering if you should hire a photographer for your little one&#8217;s birthday party, the answer is YES! And you will be so glad you did.
Of course, we all know what a toss-up December weather can be in Dallas. However, they lucked out and had an absolutely perfect day for a gorgeous backyard party! Meanwhile, the birthday girl woke up from a regular nap to a very different kind of day. Her favorite people were all ready to celebrate her. And let me tell you &#8211; she is soooo loved!
Cake, beautiful decorations, friends &amp; family, and lots of love; this party had it all. They also did a Doljabi, a traditional Korean event where a baby chooses an item that tells what she&#8217;s destined to be.  Everyone had fun watching her make her decision!
Such amazing planning went into this day, as you can clearly see. There were so many great details in addition to so many sweet &amp; fun moments!
