I just love taking Dallas Fall Family photos at White Rock Lake. The leaves were changing colors and falling and looking pretty darn good for Texas.  And this spot made the perfect background for this session. Fall colors can be tricky in photos around Dallas because they don&#8217;t change until November, which is a little late if you&#8217;re trying to get holiday cards out. But if you&#8217;re willing to wait until a little later in the season, it&#8217;s totally worth it for these pretty colors!
It&#8217;s hard to believe how quickly these kids have grown! Even though I see them every year, I&#8217;m always blown away at how much they&#8217;ve changed since the last time. It&#8217;s truly a joy to see a family over &amp; over again over the years.
This is the second part of the <a href="https://stacietatum.com/blog/dallas-documentary-family-photographer/">new puppy surprise</a> from my previous post. We had originally planned to do the photos together as one session, but threats of severe weather postponed this part of the session so it ended up being on another day. We got really lucky with the weather &amp; lighting for this part, as you can see, so it ended up working out really well!

Even though they&#8217;re growing up, they&#8217;re still happy to give Mom &amp; Dad and even each other plenty of love &amp; hugs. 🙂
