At home lifestyle newborn photography is always so special. Instead of scrambling to get everyone ready and then rushing out of the house, you get to stay home and enjoy the time with your new baby. Newborn babies can feel when we&#8217;re stressed, and staying home can eliminate a lot of stress! Spending less time rushing and more time snuggling will always be a win. 🙂
Another benefit about at home lifestyle newborn photography is that we get to include your nursery in the photos. You&#8217;ve most likely spent a lot of time getting that special room ready for your new little one. You&#8217;ll be so glad you have photos of your new baby settling into that space. Sometimes when I do a newborn session, it&#8217;s the first time the baby has even been in their crib!
I am always so humbled when clients come to me again and again for photos. It wasn&#8217;t that long ago that I photographed their first baby turning one at an <a href="https://stacietatum.com/blog/small-things-dallas-family-photographer/">awesome session in their home</a>. And before that, his <a href="https://www.facebook.com/StacieTatumPhotography/photos/pb.100051284677714.-2207520000/10153440611950863/?type=3">newborn session</a>! It&#8217;s been so much fun watching him grow into an adorable toddler. And it was a joy to meet their new baby, a precious little girl. And speaking of nurseries, hers is absolutely gorgeous! All of the details are just beautiful. You can tell a lot of care went into planning.
Mom wanted a lot of sleepy photos, so of course she didn&#8217;t want to sleep! But in the end we wore her out and were able to get the best of both worlds &#8211; a squishy, sleepy little baby and plenty of awake shots where we can see her beautiful eyes. Loved this session so much!
