<p>If you&#8217;re looking for a special way to document your family, why should you consider having a relaxed family session at home? First, home is where kids feel most comfortable. They&#8217;re most likely to be themselves and be happy. Plus, you eliminate the stress of getting everyone in the car to get somewhere at an exact time. You&#8217;ll still be able to have beautiful portraits made. And to top it all off, you&#8217;ll have special moments captured that are totally unique to your kids and your family!</p>
<p>Kids love to show off their rooms and their space! They&#8217;re always so proud. You can just see the excitement in this sweet girl&#8217;s face. And she gave me plenty of other awesome faces too. 🙂 We had a great time at this session! It was shortly before Christmas so their house was decorated and the leaves outside were beautiful. That&#8217;s probably my favorite combination of things. We spent some time inside their adorable house and then went outside to play.</p>
<p>It hardly seems possible that it&#8217;s been 12 years since <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10150287346775863&amp;set=pb.100051284677714.-2207520000">I photographed their wedding</a>, but it was so great catching up! It&#8217;s always an honor to photograph past wedding clients&#8217; kids.  And it&#8217;s such an amazing honor to be invited into peoples&#8217; homes to document their lives.</p>
<p>Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see one thing Mom really wanted photographed &#8211; riding the scooter around the house! Because if there&#8217;s one thing we know as Moms, it&#8217;s that something our kids do allllllllllll the time will eventually suddenly not be a thing anymore. And it&#8217;s so important to capture those things so we always have those memories documented!</p>
