I&#8217;ve been looking forward to doing these photos for a long time &#8211; maybe even since the day I found out that this little guy was on his way. I immediately knew that I really wanted to take photos of my new nephew soon after his birth at the hospital while he was super super new, and fortunately my sister was totally on board.
Of course, nobody really feels &#8220;ready&#8221; to be in photos less than 48 hours after having a new baby, but you just can&#8217;t beat that emotion that new parents have. Even when they&#8217;re completely exhausted because babies don&#8217;t like to sleep that second night after being born &#8211; there&#8217;s just such a joy and sense of amazement in the little life they now have to take care of. I love that I was able to capture the newness and the excitement &#8211; and it doesn&#8217;t hurt that new babies don&#8217;t get much cuter than this!
