<p>December might be my favorite month &#8211; it&#8217;s just so magical, between all the pretty glowy lights, the smell of fresh pine trees, yummy things you get to bake and/or eat, and the special things you only get to do once a year. This year was extra awesome because it was the first year my girls were really old enough to &#8220;get&#8221; Christmas, or at least understand that things were a little different than they are the rest of the year. We saw lots of lights, baked &#038; decorated cookies for family &#038; neighbors, got dressed up in red and went to parties, decorated, etc. This was one of the months I&#8217;m most thankful that I was able to capture in daily photos &#8211; because I&#8217;m pretty sure I wouldn&#8217;t have picked up my camera nearly as much in such a busy (though wonderful) month.</p>
